My Golf Journey

  • 2021 Offseason

    2021 – Season Reflection

2021 is officially complete, made lot of improvements and had good finishes

Q1 – Made full swing changes, the swing is more neutral now, low point is better also the club is exiting left, attack angle was better.  Qualified in my first AJGA qualifier at Carolina Trace and made it to my first AJGA Open, did not finish well, great experience

Q2 – Got my new irons T100 with the LA golf shafts, Won my first AJGA qualifier at long leaf, ball striking was good, short game and putting needed some work. Missed the cut in the main tournament.

Played at PKBGT event at Dupont golf course, for the first time I played a fast narrow golf course with thick rough. The golf course did not have first cut, it penalized heavily for the missing fairways by a narrow margin. I should have had a better plan of the tee. Great experience looking forward to 2022 to play it again. The same theme continued in June ball striking was not perfect and short game did not help either.

    Q3 –

In terms of results Q3 was better played couple of US Kids events Teen World Championship and Red White and Blue regionals, got a good finish in both

Also played lot of high school matches and PJGA jr league

    Q4

    Plan for 2022

Get Stronger, excited to lot of deadlifts, squats and bench presses

Make some swing change, improve tilts, get the head more stable in down swing

Get faster, lot of speed training

For Superspeed I am currently at 116 with the yellow and 110 with green, want to improve that by 5

Want to get the driver swing to 95 mph consistently and 98-100 for all out swings
